Metfield Cemetery

Residents of Metfield (and others in certain circumstances) can purchase a plot (known as an Exclusive Right of Burial) either for burial of a coffin or of cremated ashes. Burials have taken place here since 1952 and in due course burials will take place in the ‘extension’ field which is currently being used to encourage wildlife.  The seats in this area were paid for from a donation from Christine Brennan from the proceeds of her book about the village.
